Stargazer

Almost intangible to the eyes
They shimmer, little specks of light
On an otherwise desolate darkness.

Beautiful ornaments of the sky,
Jewels of the mighty crown
They shimmer, emitting hope to the hopeless.

Lonely in space, without a life in sight
They still shimmer,
Showering their radiance upon the night!

Each one of them a part
A masterpiece, an art,
Painting awe and wonder
In the eyes of the stargazer.

  1. Dear Maheysh,

Very well written poem. Our hearty Congratulations, Maheysh!!!

Stars are the ornaments of the sky, they emit hope to the hopeless and they are master piece each one of them...are superb lines.

Your selection of background(dark) on this page reflect the night sky!!!

Your knowledge on different constellations are too good...I don't know even though I was associated with ISRO for ~11 years.

Best wishes and God bless you abundantly to become like a bright star and a master piece among the rest.

    Keep writing and keep rocking...

    Tons of Love,
    Appa
